The course has two contrasting halves. The front nine is more hilly but with quite wide sweeping fairways gentle slopes, trees and water providing the natural hazards. The back nine is mainly flat but tighter as it weaves its way through the beautiful orange groves. Strategically placed fairway bunkers and water hazards contribute to making it one of the toughest courses on the Costa.
